The islands of Hawaii are surrounded by the most fantastic sea life imaginable. The dramatic coral reefs, shallow coves, and bottomless depths are home to a multitude of small, large, and very large creatures, some of which can be seen nowhere else in the world. A visit to Sea Life Park allows you to meet some of Hawaii’s most unusual residents face-to-face, without even getting your feet wet! It’s a great environment for children and adults to learn about the unique ecosystem surrounding the Hawaiian Islands while spending unforgettable moments with rays, sea lions, dolphins, turtles, and more! Ka  Moana is Hawaiian for the ocean, and that is definitely the theme of the day!

Did you know that you can combine your visit to Sea Life Park with an unforgettable evening at the Ka Moana Luau? Ka Moana is the only luau on the east side of Oahu, and is only a beautiful 30-minute drive from Waikiki.

Time for a Party!

Luau doesn’t just mean dinner, it’s a Hawaiian party! That means hula, hands-on activities, and traditional music and dance. Before the feast is served, you’re invited to take part in a number of fun activities. Feeling up for a hula lesson? Would you like to play the ukulele? Maybe you’re the crafty type who would enjoy braiding traditional headbands or making a beautiful lei. These activities are not only fun, they also teach about Hawaiian culture.

When it’s time to eat, you can enjoy a sumptuous buffet with delicious mahimahi with macadamia nut sauce, a truly special seafood treat. Of course there’s also lomi lomi salmon, kalua pig, chicken yakitori, a wide variety of exotic and familiar side dishes, fresh salads and fruits, desserts and a full selection of drinks. You definitely won’t leave hungry!

While you’re enjoying all of these exotic flavors, don’t forget to look up and catch a glance at the breathtaking sunset. Hawaiian sunsets are known to paint the most spectacular colors all over the sky. Just off-shore is Rabbit Island – a small, uninhabited island so-named because it looks like a gigantic rabbit breaking the surface. It provides a great backdrop for some of your best photos.
