Description
Calling all foodies, this is the luau for you!
Rarely does food take center stage at a Hawaiian luau, but the newly reopened Diamond Head Luau is proving that it can be done. They’ve created the “Taste of Hawaii” culinary experience, featuring signature dishes prepared by some of the area’s finest restaurants and food vendors. Forget about long buffet lines and bland dishes. Instead, you’ll find high quality Hawaiian and Asian inspired cuisine, made from fresh local ingredients, proudly served by the very people who prepared them.
The new dining concept isn’t the only thing that sets this luau apart from other luaus. The typical luau on Oahu can seat hundreds of people a night, but Diamond Head Luau is tiny by comparison. This is a small venue, with a capacity under 100 people. That’s just enough people to make a luau feel like a party, without feeling crowded or impersonal.
Finally, despite the laid-back atmosphere, the entertainment at Diamond Head Luau is on point. They have one of the freshest and liveliest luau shows around, featuring a talented cast of performers. You’ll enjoy a night of live music, Polynesian dancing, and a thrilling fire knife performance to end the night.
Diamond Head's friendly, relaxed atmosphere and freestyle dining makes it feel like a lively block party. Come ready to try lots of new foods, mingle with fellow travelers, and have a great time!
Diamond Head Luau has a number of pre-show cultural activities available for guests. Participants of all ages can learn how to braid headbands from coconut leaves, string fresh flower bracelets, take part in group hula lessons, or watch a coconut husking demonstration. You can watch, participate, or skip them all together, it’s up to you.
The Diamond Head Luau dining experience is unlike any other. Diamond Head has partnered with some of the area’s best restaurants to create a culinary tasting experience. The luau grounds are lined with food stalls to choose from. Each restaurant serves a signature dish and luau guests are given the opportunity to try them all. Bring your appetite though, because there are eight vendors to choose from and the portions are generous.
There’s also a bar tent on the luau grounds where you can redeem your complimentary drink tickets or order signature cocktails for an additional charge. They offer a variety of mixed drinks, beer, and soft drinks.
The evening performance is a Polynesian revue which showcases the music, dance, and cultures of Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, and other Polynesian nations. Relax and enjoy an evening under the stars as this talented cast of dancers and musicians take you on a tour through Polynesia. This spectacular show ends with a thrilling Samoan fire-knife dancing performance featuring multiple dancers.
The Premium seating package guarantees seating closest to the stage.
